  1. How to Disable PIN and Password Login on Startup?

Hi everyone,I need some help with an issue on my laptop. I originally set up a PIN for my laptop's login, but recently I removed it in the settings. Now, every time I turn on my laptop, it prompts me to enter my Microsoft account password instead. My goal is simple: I’d like to start up my laptop without needing to enter a PIN or Microsoft password. Is there a way to set this up so I can go directly to the desktop on startup? Thanks in advance for any guidance!

    :)

Disabling the login PIN without a password

I've been using a pin to login to windows 10 after boot up, but now I've decided I would rather have it login automatically. I've seen many explanations on how to disable the pin, but they all require a password. I'm pretty sure I never entered a password for this computer. On the first login it gave me the option to use a pin instead of a password, which is what I did. So how do I now modify the startup so that neither a password nor a pin is required. I realize that most people would consider this unsafe ... but this is really want I want to do on this particular computer.

  3. Forgotten PIN and expired password

    Hi Dyari,

    Thanks for your answer.

I tried steps of both links:

    • #1: reset PIN code
      • I see no link "reset your PIN"on login page --> I can't reset it
    • #2: change or reset windows password
      • My Windows account is not displayed at all on login page.
      • I am using a local account
If you have any other suggestion, I would be more than happy to try.

    Regards,

    Guillaume
