Windows 10: How to disable startup password in Windows 10 Education edition

I've recently reinstalled my PC and I'm trying to disable my password requirements. I went to "control userpasswords2" to uncheck the "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" box but when I go there the box isn't there. I've switched to an education version of windows but other than that everything is the same as before the reinstall.

I use WoL quite often so I'd really like to be able t disable this.

Windows Startup password

Is it possible to remove a startup password without being able to log into the system? A friend's laptop just prompt her today for a password that she never enabled. Now, she does have a standard user account password, but that doesn't work for the startup password. She had the computer for about a year now and it has never asked for a startup password until today.

I tried to use Hiren Boot CD to run a diagnostic on the laptop, but it has a bsod. Windows 10 normal boot crashes as well

 

Change from Windows 10 Education edition to Windows 10 Professional

Windows 10 Education is an academic edition of Windows 10 used in schools. Features like Cortana are removed because of the environment it is used in.

Windows 10 Pro Education builds on the commercial version of Windows 10 Pro and provides important management controls needed in schools. Windows 10 Pro Education is effectively a variant of Windows 10 Pro that provides education-specific default settings,
including the removal of Cortana1. These default settings disable tips, tricks and suggestions & Windows Store suggestions.

If you want to downgrade to the Windows 10 Pro edition, you will need to perform a clean install and you will need a unique product key to install it. The Windows 10 Pro Edu or Windows 10 Education key will not activate Windows 10 Pro.

If you don't have a license for Windows 10 Pro, you will either need to request it from the institution you got Windows 10 Education; or you will have to purchase a license for Pro, then perform a clean install.

Hello, ever since I upgraded the Windows Edition on my Acer Aspire E5-575G-50ZZ from Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Education, it has been suffering from very long boot times. The
ntblog.txt file shows that Windows has repeatedly failed to load these services: dxgkrnl.sys, NDProxy.sys and WdFilter.sys. I have tried:

1. Updating Windows to the latest version
2. Using the SFC and DISM tools (both of them showed no problems)
3. Reinstalling Display Adapter drivers from the Device Manager
4. Uninstalling Intel Rapid Storage Technology (someone somewhere suggested it)
5. Disabling Fast Startup
6. Disabling third-party, nonessential boot services

None of these seem to have worked. Also, dxdiag returns no errors.

Please help.
