Windows 10: How to downgrade from the latest Windows 10 version 1909 to version 1903 when you have...

If your answer is somewhat related to this --->>> "hey man, it's so easy you just need to go to the recovery section in Windows settings and then navigate to Go back to the previous version of Windows 10" then please don't post any answers to this question. I've tried that solution but it always goes back to version 1803 because that's the version on which I installed the latest 1909 build by using the Windows 10 November 2019 Update Assistant.

The reason why I specifically need build/version 1903 of Windows 10 is that Forza Horizon 4 only works on build version 1903 and crashes on all other older as well as newer versions of Windows 10. I've tried to install the 1903 update package on version 1803 my previous version but every time I get a compatibility error.


Currently, I have version 1909 installed on my PC. Is there any way that I could downgrade it to version 1903?

Updating to Windows 10 versions 1903 and 1909

When checking for latest updates of Window 10, my computer indicates it is up to date. I'm unable to download versions 1903 and 1909. Everytime I've tried I run into a problem. How can I fix this? Thanks

The standard download for version 1909 is only 300MB if you have version 1903 already installed, if you did not have version 1903 installed, that download should have been much bigger and included everything it needed to install, because 1903 is not pre-requisite
for version 1909 . . .

Try re-starting your PC maybe 3 times in a row to see if that prompts 1909 to begin the installation phase . . .

 

Updating to Windows 10 versions 1903 and 1909

Version 1903 is the public version released in Spring 2019. Version 1909 is the public version released in Autumn 2019.

The version number for Insider Preview having a build number of 19541 (just released) is 2004.
