Windows 10: How to effectively transfer data from one user to another in Windows 11?

I am currently using a laptop of a friend for school, not realizing that I was on his account having everything uploaded to his OneDrive. This wouldn't really be an issue since for the most part I have only downloaded games and done homework in the profile, but I recently have been working with confidential data, and decided it would be best for me to make a new user so that it was not connected to the account. I started by making a new Windows user, which I connected to my Microsoft account and made a local administrator. I couldn't find anything online about a specific process to move the da

I understand your query related to transferring user data from one user account to another user account. Kindly follow the steps mentioned below to transfer the data.

1. Login to the new administrator account.
   
2. Press Windows + E keys to open
   File Explorer.
   
3. Now click on View tab and check the box
   Hidden items.
   
4. Navigate to the location C:\Users\Old_Username, where
   C is the drive that Windows is installed on, and Old_Username is the name of the profile you want to copy files from.
   
5. Copy all of the files and folders in this folder, except the following files:
   
   Ntuser.data
   
   Ntuser.dat.log
   
   Ntuser.ini
   
6. Now go to C:\Users\New_Username and
   Paste all the files that you have copied.
   

Once you transfer the user account data you can delete the user account that is not required.

Transfer data from windows to android

thank you , GK. it would be more helpful suggest step by step . you mean that i connect my device nokia lumia 510 , windows 7 phone to m y PC through Nokia suit.

if this is the first stp what are the subsequent steps till transfer is effected.

 

Data transfer

How can I transfer data (no programs or windows just setups and games)from one HDD to another please tell me all the steps, I have heard that in 2 sata if there is a window installed in both of them it could cause a problem. So, here is what I'm going to do so correct me if I'm wrong. both of them Are SATA WD

1 using XP CD going to delete the C partition in old HDD
2 taking the HDD out
4 partition the new HDD in new PC by using XP CD
5 install Win 7
6 connect the old HDD with SATA data and power cable
7 check if it is detected in bios
8 disk management initialize disk(i don't know if this is necessary)
9 copy paste
