Windows 10: How to enable horizontal two-finger swiping?

I used to be able to swipe with two fingers to go back a page in browsers, but a few days ago I accidentally reset a lot of my settings. Now it's disabled and I can't find where to change it.

How to turn off Back/Forward swipes on two finger touchpad gesture?

Hi there.

When a window has horizontal scroll bar the horizontal two-finger gesture scrolls the window. But when no such scroll bar this gesture makes Back or Forward swipes. How to disable two-finger swipes at all and leave only the scroll behaviour?

Two Finger Horizontal Scroll Not Working

Here is some new information.

It seems that when you two finger zoom the horizontal scrollbar disappears. This is only true on the MSN.com webpage and all links on that page for both Edge and IE. Once you leave the page by typing in another site, using favorites, or favorites menu, the
scrollbar is present and two finger horizontal swipe works fine. It is my conclusion, that the issue rests solely with Microsoft and the MSN.com page. I have been in email contact with ASUS and they want me to do a BIOS reset (done), Troubleshooting (done),
reload their drivers (done), recover to previous OS (done once), clean install of Win 10 (NO WAY!!). This may be frustrating, but certainly not worth a clean install.

BTW .... This has been the best support I have had over the years with MS. Thanks for stepping up the quality of support.

As you have updated the touchpad drivers, check if you are able to configure the finger swipe touchpad gestures by following the below steps.

• 
  Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard to open settings menu.
  
• 
  Click on Devices, select
  Mouse and Touchpad on the left navigation pane under the Devices settings window.
  
• 
  Change the settings to enable touchpad features under
  Touchpad.
  

Under the touchpad, check whether you are able to configure the three finger swipe gestures.
