  4. How to enable screenshot with a security policy

    "Security policies on this pc"

I recently just set up a password for my account on my laptop (local account) and noticed how every time my computer went to sleep, I had to re-enter my password to sign in to my account. I tried to go to the sign in options in the settings app to disable the password requirement, but the options that are presented under the sign in requirement only range from "always" to "5 minutes". I searched on Youtube to see if anyone knew how to disable it and they all had the option of "never". I noticed that there was text below the setting that said "Security policies on this PC is preventing some options from being shown" and there was no way I could tell what security policies it was talking about. I tried looking for it in Local Group Policy Editor but couldn't find a policy that seemed like what I was looking for. Could someone perhaps give suggestions on what I should do?

Update: Ok, I figured out the problem and I'm gonna put it here for other's convenience in case someone else has the same problem. If you have a work or school account logged in, it might have overwritten the local policies on your computer. I just disconnected mine and the restriction has thus been removed. (though I am not entirely sure whether or not there was a way to remove the restriction without the need to disconnect the account).

Otherwise, just follow the steps listed out on RobinsonSilvestre's first reply and see if that works.

Thanks to everyone to helped out!
