    How to enable Secure Boot in BIOS for American Megatrends?


    When I run the System Information app and look under Secure Boot State it says unsupported, yet I saw Secure Boot settings in my BIOS and it seemed to be turned on! I need this to upgrade to Windows 11. My desktop PC is 1 year old.     American Megatrend Mystery

    Since the last updates on my Windows 10 computer, at start up the screen if filled with data and a large title American Megatrend at the top. Why is this suddenly starting to happe? I can see no need for it anyway.

    I am trying to boot a Laptop with the American Megatrends BIOS from a different boot device.

    The setup shows Boot option priorities "Windows Boot Manager" and "UEFI: Built-in EFI...".

    There is also an "OS Slelect" (!) with the options "Windows" and "Linux".

    But I did not find any option to boot from USB/CD/Lan.

    What do I need to do?
