  1. How to fix error 0x8007002 when trying to update?

I own a Dell Inspiron 15-3567. I've been getting for the second time error 0x8007002 when I try to update my windows system for some days now I don't remember the exact date. This error shows up when I try to download update KB4571756.

Last time I got this error, I read through a couple of questions in this site of people having the same error, and found a solution in a thread started by RusellMays1 about the same error. User John DeV suggested running the troubleshooter. If that didn't work, then check if the Background Intelligent Transfer Service, Windows Update and Workstation services were running. If those were running, he linked a .bat file that runs some code that resets Windows Update, and it worked fine. Link to the thread: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/i-have-been-receiving-error-code-0x80070002-since/7b78b629-a836-4593-91ca-1b54f142c7db

Fast forward some weeks, and I get the same error, and, for some reason, the .bat doesn't work anymore I deleted it when the error stopped appearing, downloaded it again when the error showed up again, and it just didn't do what it did last time. I watched a YouTube tutorial by Hetman Recovery. That tutorial told me, in the following order, to:

    1. Ran the troubleshooter. Didn't work

    2. Searched for Services in the search bar, and checked if the Windows Update was running, as well as Background Tasks Infrastructure Service and Windows Event Log. They were all running.

    3. Stopped the Windows Update Service, and went to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore and deleted everything there A "Logs" folder, DataStore.edb and DataStore.jfm. Then ran "cleanmgr" and selected "Windows Update Cleanup". I cleaned 7 or 8 GB, if I remember correctly. The process was going to take a while, so I left it running overnight. After I woke up, it was done cleaning, and I opened Services again to start the Windows Update service and tried updating again. It didn't work.

The tutorial mentioned restoring the OS, but I didn't see it as necessary, as last time I fixed it by just running some code I got on this site and it worked fine, but because the error came back and the .bat just straight up didn't work, I'm not sure if I'm going to have to restore the OS something I have no clue how to do. How do I fix this error?

    :)

Problems while trying to upgrade to 1809, error code 0x80070003

And- ah- have you contacted MS support as suggested and what did they say?

And have you researched the error code?
    E.g.
error code 0x8007002 and 0x8007003 - Microsoft Community
(May need to adapt slightly for Win 10)

  3. Windows Mail - Error 0x8007002 (Cant delete accounts in settings)

I have two account configured in Windows mail. One day Windows mail tells me that one of the accounts needs my attention. I enter my password but no luck. I then try to remove the account within Windows Mail. It tell throws me error 0x8007002. I try all
things i can, no luck. I then go to setting->accounts and try to remove the account that way. No luck. I try to remove the other account but get the same error.

I then remove the Windows Communication AppX package using Powershell, reboot and add it again using Windows Store. It gets installed without errors. When I start the mail app it tells me that I already have the two account configured but throws me the same
    error message.

I remove the communications package again, reboot and turn off syncing. I look in settings->Account and both accounts are listed under Email, calendar, and contacts. I try to remove them: Error 0x8007002.

I have reset Windows Update, Windows Store. I am completely stuck. Any suggestion appreciated.
