Windows 10: How to fix my windows settings?

Since the last major Windows 10 update, some things have been broken in my Windows. For example, in the picture above, the icons are now missing. In addition, some application executables return the "Unhandled exception at address 0x00000000209201e9 code: 0xc0000005: "Access violation".I have tried the sfc /scannow command.I have tried the DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth command.I have also checked the updates.Sadly, I cannot uninstall of the updates above, the option to do so does not exist.Lastly, I do not wish to upgrade to Windows 11. Any help would be much appreciated.

Sound card amplification settings

Yeah unfortunately ASUS and Realtek are not stepping up and fixing this it seems. Wherever I see such problems mentioned on forums some users are suggesting just uninstalling the Realtek driver and using the Windows audio driver.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
