    How to fix "Oops can't save that one" error in Windows 10 photo app


    I have tried altering user account control settings, running SFC and DISM commands, and uninstalling Windows Photo App and none have worked.

    windows 10 photos "oops! we couldn't save this one"

    I have many photo files that don't seem to be editable by the windows Photos app. I own the file and have full permission on it but when I edit the file and click save I get a pop up that says "Oops! We couldn't save that one."

    "Oops" message while editing photos with Windows 10

    "Oops! We can't save that one." I edit a lot of photos on my laptop. Since Windows 10 was installed and I lost the old Win 8 Photo Manager, I get a lot of the "Oops! We can't save that one" messages after cropping a photo. I can always save it as a copy
    but that gets cumbersome. I'd say at least 1/3 of my photos get the "Oops!" message. All are shot with the same camera and loaded to my laptop in the same way. All get the same editing: a little cropping and perhaps a little lighting enhancement. Nothing
    extreme.

    As long as we are talking, I really REALLY miss the old Windows 8 Photo Manager.
