Windows 10: How to fix Several Windows Update Got Same Install Error - 0x80070103 while update history...

so this noon I opened my windows update and looked there are several updates that failed to install on my Windows 11 Home Preinstalled on Acer Nitro 5 2021 Edition. there are multiple update that can't be installed I've been trying to troubleshoot problem but didn't gave me fix, I've trying to do some other fix from here : https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-to-handle-install-error-0x80070103/1ef5ece0-9ca1-4db9-b39c-319470415ded .i don't know how and why, but the driver updates history indicates that those updates were successfully installed but there is still an u

Windows Update keeps listing an available update, but when I run Update, I get an error: Intel - Net - 12.18.9.20 Install error - 0x80070103

I run the Windows Update troubleshooter (the one in Windows, not the download mentioned in so many articles with the broken link), and it finds a problem, and says it fixed it, but the problem persists. I attached an image of the issues below.

I have tried

• uninstalling the Intel adapters in Device Manager
  
• the process of renaming catroot2 and SoftwareDistribution as in this post
  
• ran system file checker, it found and fixed corrupted files
  

Nothing has worked.

I'm not sure ther'e much you can do since it's Win10. In previous versions you could hide that update. but Win10 you can't. The error code indicates that either the software being offered is backlevel to what's alreadu installed or ... a co-instlaller already installed what was needed ... this 'second' driver throws the error code.
These will help explain it, but won't help fix it.

You could try installing the driver from HP: search results (sorry, all I had to go on was 5520 series - hey ... that was an old IBM device *Wink )

Pick the 8.1 version if available and the same bit depth as your OS (x86 /amd64 - 32-bit/ 64-bit)

You might have to uninstall the driver already on the machine, then physically disconnect the printer
Devices prefer to have the software installed before being connected ... many installers prompt you when to connect the device.
