Windows 10: How to fix the Can't connect securely to this page due to unsafe TLS Security settings.

After hours and hours of searching and reading about how to fix this issue I finally was able to resolve the problem.


I did the following…..

Verify the following are checked:

Use SSL 3.0

Use TLS 1.0

Use TLS 1.1

Use TLS 1.2

and it did not solve the problem.


After days and hours of frustration I discovered the System Mechanics has a Privacy Guardian Application that had been added at some point. Once I disabled the Application I was then able to get on the websites with no problems. If you have this application on your computer then I hope this will help and will save you lots of time and frustration.

When trying to go to https://email.tsa.dhs.gov/my.policy I get this message....

Can’t connect securely to this page
This might be because the site uses outdated or unsafe TLS security settings. If this keeps happening, try contacting the website’s owner.

I am running Win10 and Edge. Pls advise.

Keep getting this error message when I go to sites that used to work to pay my bills.
