    how to fix usable memory, 32GB 16GB usable problem.


    Why is windows 10 reserving 16GB half of my memory for hardware after upgrading from 16GB of memory to 32GB of memory? When I had only 16GB of memory it did not reserve anything for hardware. I ran SFC and DISM and both came back ok. How can I fix this?

    Windows 10 Pro x64 32gb ram installed but only 16gb usable

    I just upgraded to a 500GB SSD. Installed Windows 10 Pro x64. I have 32gb of ram. But windows 10 x64 is saying 16gb is usable. The UEFI motherboard bios sees the 32gb of ram. I did all the trouble shooting the motherboard manufacturer said to do, but
    still didn't fix my problem. Anyone else having this problem? If so can you please inform me on how to fix this problem?

    Memory usable

    The amount of usable memory are not exact amounts. Usable memory is a calculated amount of the total physical memory minus "hardware reserved" memory.

    Suggest that you do an internet search for more details.

    Windows 10 6.6gb memory usable out of 16gb memory.


    I've noticed my memory is sky rocketing up to the 90%s when gaming or idle. I checked my specs and have realized only 6.6gb is usable. I was wondering if anyone had a fix to this? Thanks.
