my laptop was not seeing my own network or any available networks. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling network drivers without any success. I tried resetting my pc but that failed and all changes were undone. For some unknown reason my wifi started working again. I downloaded new drivers from intel and installed them and restarted my pc. My wifi was still connected but I got \VEN_8086&DEV_08B3&SUBSYS_84708086&REV_83\4&dea5306&0&00E1 requires further installation. Why has my WIFI network adapter turned off after an automatic update this morning related to INTEL PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers

Windows 10 64 bit

Intel dual band Wireless-AC 3160

Device Manager properties lists several event today with this remark:

Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B3&SUBSYS_00708086&REV_83\4&ca6d2b4&0&00E0 requires further installation

The download today included the Intel PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers. This program is wanting to import WLAN profiles.

What the heck am I supposed to do to turn my WIFI adaptor back on?

Very Frustrating.

 

All things Microsoft will not connect.

MS Edge, Store, Games/Xbox and Skype keep failing they open to the screen but then close.

When I looked up my computers symptoms online and tried the solutions, it reports fixed but still not working. When it asks for Feedback that app fails also; connection error.

It isn't me, I have at least a dozen service calls right now on this same issue. People are FRUSTRATED!

If it weren't for Google I couldn't even get here to sound off.

It has been this way for a month, it is unreasonable to leave us hanging this way.

Other than the Command option to check health and the one to go into the properties of the internet connection what else is there? HELP!
