    how to fix video_tdr_failure and nvlddmkm.sys error?


    My laptop seems to crash whenever it's on battery power and when it crashes the blue screen error shown is video_tdr_failure and nvlddmkm.sys error but this does not happen when laptop is connected to the power source.The in my task manager the GPU1Nvidia GPU is not running on battery power and system crashes, then after restarting the GPU is working.I have reinstalled the driver in safe mode even then the issue is not resolved. I used Dell Support to diagnose the hardware and software but no problems found.

    Video_TDR_Failure (igdkmd64.sys)

    I tried the fix above and it only worked for a day then the same video_tdr_failure igdkmd64.sys appeared and restarted my pc. I have an Intel HD 4400 Graphics on my pc.

    Anyone have any other suggestions?

    I have already tried to install the newest versions of the video card from Intel which did not work.

    Getting nvlddmkm error in event viewer, game crashing

    1) Run Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool
    At least 8 runs

    2) run administrative command prompt:
    sfc /scannow
    dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    chkdsk /x /f /r
    For the chkdsk it will require a reboot and may take many hours. Plan to run it overnight.
    To view the chkdsk results run administrative command prompt or powershell: get-winevent -FilterHashTable @{logname="Application"; id="1001"}| ?{$_.providername –match "wininit"} | fl timecreated, message | out-file Desktop\CHKDSKResults.txt

    Let us know the results of each study.

    My Dell computer with Windows 10 crashes frequently, displaying Video_TDR_Failure (igdkmd64.sys). When the computer restarts the clock always indicates 1 hour earlier than before the crash. What is the problem?
