Windows 10: how to fix windows installer error 1719

i am finding it difficult to uninstall or install any other app on my windows 10, it keeps pupping up windows installer services not found sometimes with error 1719, how do i fix this please

I'm having the same error code 1719 when attempting to download and install TurboTax. When I process Krishna's steps the 'Startup type:' is greyed out and set to manual. The Service status is 'Running' and unable to be changed. I continue to be unable
to install the download from Intuit. Any other suggestions?

I noticed you're running XP 64.

First, simply try installing Adobe into a different directory and that may fix the issue.

If not, you might want to try this because Error 1719 can occur in x64 when the 32-bit version of msiexec is registered as the msiserver.

Here's the fix:
1. Open regedit ( Start -> Run -> regedit.exe -> OK)

2. Go to the following key:
My computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSIServer

3. Look at the ImagePath entry. For Windows XP x64 it should read:

C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\msiexec.exe /V

If it doesn't edit the registry to match that.

4. Restart the Windows Installer service from the Admin Control Panel -> Services CP
