Windows 10: How to Force Windows 10 Threshold 2 to Show Up in Windows Update

Get your win10 here: Tech Bench enjoy. If your winupdate got corrupted during the first update cycle to TH2 Build 1511... then the actual update to this build, as in my case, will not show up.

 

Hi guys. Do you know how to force update on Win10 Education? Windows Update is not showing update to TH2 and MCT is not supporting education version of windows.

Thank-you ClusterHead for starting this thread. Now I understand why my PC didn't receive the update. It's because I had to wipe Windows 10, reinstall Windows7 and then upgrade again to Windows 10 on October 28th. Less than 30 days ago, hence, no upgrade notification.

Still waiting. I refuse to update manually. I am stubborn that way.

My son's computer already updated automatically.

 

What's funny is it seems like I will always get it done 13-14 days after release as my original Windows 10 RTM 10240 upgrade from Windows 7 Home Edition was on August 12, 2015 which was basically 14 days from the July 29, 2015 release date and my last in-place upgrade was on October 26, 2015 to fix the start menu not working problem which means November 25, 2015 would be the 31st day which is exactly 13 days from the 10586 release date. I'll just be patiently waiting and hope my Microsoft shares will continue going up! LOL. Besides that, November 25, 2015 should be the date when it's available for me so I can really say Thanks on Thanksgiving the next day! *Wink

I'll use the Techbench ISO if my Start Menu stops working before then. Otherwise, I'll just wait for it since one should experience the real upgrade procedure once before using alternatives...

I know I could always use the MCT, but what's the fun in that?

 

sir can u please upload the same iso used to upgrade your pc or laptop mine is also 64 home single language i cant find iso online and microsoft deleted it from their site.Thanks in advance

My 64-bit download of Win10_1511_English_x64.iso was 3,922,852KB [3.74GB] and the 32-bit download of Win10_1511_English_x32.iso was 2,962,582KB [2.82GB]. I've seen ESD files of differing sizes.
