    I've inherited an old system that uses a VBS script that invokes an ActiveX function. This works fine on Win7 but fails on Win10. I know next to nothing about VBS and absolutely nothing about ActiveX . Almost everything I've see relating to enabling ActiveX in Win10 were about enabling it in IE but no browser is involved here. When installing this package on Win10 I got error regarding failure to register msscript.ocx but I found instructions for doing this manually: issuing "regsvr32 c:\windows\syswow64\msscript.ocx" from an elevated command prompt. This was successful, but did not fix the problem. Any suggestions for what I should try next? (I know I should learn VBS and replace the use of ActiveX with something else, but I'd like a short term solution or circumvention in the mean time.) I doubt it matters much, but this is happening on Win 10 20H2, build 19042.1052.
