  1. How to group programs in win10 taskbar?

I'm struggling to find a program that lets me group my pinned programms in the taskbar. For example I'ld like to make a group for tools, games, music and so on. In that group programs should be added:

    - tools- notepad++- calc- word- ...

    - music- spotify- serato- ...

    Does anyone know something?

It would be great if it is open source or just free to use

  2. program to hide the taskbar

    Hello,

I Do not recommend you to use third party programs for that kind of things as it might cause system to dysfunction.

I suggest you follow these steps

Right-click on an empty area of the taskbar. (If you're in tablet mode, hold a finger on the taskbar.)

    Click taskbar settings.

Toggle Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode to on. (You can also do the same for tablet mode.)

    Moving the taskbar

    Hi Kim,

You can customize your taskbar to pin your favorite apps to it, move it to where you want to display on your screen, and specify how taskbar buttons group together when you have more than one window open. To address your question, we suggest
that you follow these steps on how to move your taskbar to a different location on the screen:

    • Open Settings and choose Personalization.
    • Select Taskbar.
    • Under Taskbar location on the screen, click the drop-down menu and select
      Bottom.

Keep us posted if you need additional help.

    Grouped v1709 taskbar program problems

Thank you for providing us the update regarding the troubleshooting step that you have done. This can be caused by a corrupted user profile since the issue does not happen in a new user profile that you have created. We suggest to use the new user profile
instead and transfer your data from the old user account to it. Here’s how to do that:

    • Restart your computer, and login to the admin account again (it’s better to use this account, than account you just created)
    • Navigate to the corrupt user account (it’s on the disk you have Windows installed on (usually C:), under
      Users)
    • Open your corrupted user profile and copy content form it to your new user profile.
    • Once everything is done, logout from your admin account, and log back in to the new account, and your settings should be transferred)

Once done, we suggest that you
disable and delete the current user profile
and check of the issue with your taskbar persists.

Should you need additional assistance, do let us know.
