  1. How to install a voice pack in Windows 10 via powershell or group policy

Since a recent windows update we are unable to use text to speech Read Aloud in Microsoft Edge. Checking the Speech Settings it seems that there are no voice packs installed prior to the update there was a UK voice pack installed.

Rather than manually have to install a voice pack on each of our machines, how can we install a voice pack via powershell or a group policy?

    Thanks

    :)

    GROUP POLICIES IN WINDOWS 10

You can change Group Policies by opening Group Policy Editor first. You can open it by following these steps:

    • Log in an administrator account. If you are already logged in as an administrator, proceed to step 2.
    • Press Windows + R to open Run.
    • Type gpedit.msc and press Enter.

After opening Group Policy Editor, you can now make the necessary changes that you want.

Should you have more concerns, feel free to post.

    Regards.
