    How to Install WIN 10 HD into new WIN 11 desktop


    I have a new WIN 11 desktop and would like to install an HD from my old WIN 10 desktop to use it as additional storage to the WIN 11 SSD and have all the old files available on the WIN 11 desktop. Can I do that without formatting the HD?Thank you

    Buying a Win 11 pre-installed desktop after using Win 10-home desktop

    Hi,

    I was previously using a desktop with Win 10-home activated. When Win 11 was available, my desktop machine unfortunately did not qualify for the free upgrade due to its hardware.

    I recently bought a Win 11 home pre-installed desktop after my previous machine died. It asks me to activate windows and when I get to the Reactivation portion, clicking then I made significate hardware changes, it lists my old machine with Win 10 that died and asks if it is the current machine I am using. It does not list my actual Win 11 machine that I am using.

    What should I do?

    My Windows digital license was Win 10-home and I was not able to upgrade due to hardware. I changed to a new set up and the license now does not match with Win 11 edition.

    How to start a new computer with win 11

    I have a new desktop with win 11 os & need help starting it up. I had win 10 but the "puter died" so I bought a new unit.

    Any suggestions to help learn 11 are appreciated.

    New SSD and migrating Win 10 from main HD

    i'm trying to migrate Win 10 and all my data to my newly installed SSD 240 GB HD

    I got a Desktop Acer machine with one main 1 TB drive HD.

    now I tried to clone Win 10 with Free macrium but looks like you need same size of HD

    or need buy the full version.

    Can the Free Easyup soft do the cloning of Win 10 to my new SSD ?

    as a last option

    or can I do a Recover and install Win 10 on the new SSD

    or have to do a complete re install of Win 10 on the SSD

    and then manually re install all my other programs and data?

    Note: I already made a recover USB key for Win10

    and made a backup of all my user area data on external drive.
