Windows 10: How to know if Security Update can be postponed ? false subsequent Windows alert misled my...

Is it possible to find out if a Security Update can be avoided under certain conditions?As an example, I need to perform a critical task which only involves followingreceive email with PowerPoint attachment from known trusted internal co-workeruse PowerPoint to view above attachmentcompare with another attachment from same sendercreate PDF via AdobeBecause of the following after KB5022282 was installed Windows 10 falsely reported it as failed-to-installReliability History showed huge dip in Stability IndexPowerPoint crashed when comparingMy two hour task was delayed because, misled by Windows

False "Device performance and health" alert.

Apparently nobody who has come across my query knows the answer yet. The false alerts keep cropping up on my computer monitor. To solve the problem temporarily, I run "HP Printer diagnostic utility", select the printer, click on "diagnose", then click on
"refresh" and "restart". When the computer reboots, the false alert is gone but it returns every third time that I restart my computer. The "HP Printer diagnostic utility" does not reveal any irregularity and does not perform any fixes. There must be some
routine that windows performs regularly and which is emitting the said false alerts. Can anybody suggest a fix to this problem, please?

No suggestions have been forthcoming yet.

 

Windows 7 Ultimate (64) Security updates not installing.

I have been having problems in installing the updates that I have listed below. For each update I attempted to install them individually but they would not install. I also downloaded the SURT 6.1 KB947821 v27. The problem has been going on now for about 2 months. (whenever the issue with the updates comes to mind I am never near my pc). Thank you in advance.

pop-ups security alerts

Tried everything that was suggested . Still getting security alerts ( even while reading the e-mail from this issue .Also .when I tried to enter command prompt as was suggested on this .

• Right-click on the Start menu.
• Select Command Prompt.
• Type cd/.
• Press Enter.
• Type "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -extoff.
• Press Enter.
• This did not go through .I forget the answer it gave ?
• But nothing happened to change the fact I get security alerts ( in all I.E 11 , yahoo.ca.com/ my home page & Facebook ) in fact on any page I open .So annoying .I click esc, it stops and comes right back on my screen .Also tried the internet
  settings suggested on tools .Dated Aug,20.2017. Thank you .
