Windows 10: How to make it easier to ask your question

It's a helpful way for people to ask questions in the Microsoft Community forums. I'll bet you didn't know that you could insert a table in the question window ...
... but you can! It's a great way to ask a question. Use one column to describe your problem, or your problem solving steps. Use the other column to provide pictures of what you're seeing.

Once you insert a table, it will expose additional controls that let you add and subtract columns:

One of the big frustrations that posters face is not knowing the correct technical terms to describe what they're seeing. Or maybe English isn't your first language. With a table, you can describe what you're seeing in your own words, and show the Community what you mean. Not only is that easier, someone might might be kind enough to explain the correct terminology.

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...


That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

 

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue
