How to Make Japanese Keyboard Type Only Hiragana

I have to use a Japanese keyboard for my Japanese class. The shortcut alt+shift is very useful for switching between Japanese and English. However, I'm very frustrated that the fact that the Japanese keyboard still types in English letters unless I go into the taskbar and select for it to type in Hiragana. I don't need the Japanese keyboard to type in English EVER. there's a very handy shortcut I can use to easily switch back to English if I want to type in Romaji, so I do not need the Romaji option. And I've tried shortcuts like ctrl + ~ to switch between Romaji and Hiragana and they don't do

    :)

  2. Can't type hiragana on Japanese IME keyboard after updating to Windows 10

After updating to Windows 10, I went to change the keyboard to type in Japanese. Even after changing to the hiragana setting, it still only types in English letters and doesn't change to hiragana. I've uninstalled the keyboard pack and reinstalled with
    no success. Please help!

  3. Can't type hiragana on Japanese IME keyboard after updating to Windows 10

Microsoft support suggests that you can use the hotkeys
to switch between input modes quickly:
    • Press + to change the input language
    • Press + to change to Hiragana
    • Press + to change to Katakana
    • Press + to toggle between alphanumeric and kana modes
As a side note: if you were really intent on making Hiragana your default input, you could write an
AutoHotkey script to do this for you. However, this involves understanding that scripting language.

How to Make Japanese Keyboard Type Only Hiragana

Is there a way to only have hiragana on Japanese keyboard?

When I use the Japanese keyboard, it is always switching to the half-width alphanumeric. Is there a way to disable it or set hiragana as the default so that I only use Hiragana?
