Windows 10: How to make the computer respond to the disc?

I have this problem: I put in a CD and the computer does not respond to the disc. After all, I cleaned a disc few times and nothing. I'm using Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. How to fix it? Sorry for Bad English, because I'm Polish

I suggest you to follow the below steps to read the Windows 7 disc and check if it helps.

• Insert Windows 7 disc.
• Press “Windows+E” which will open file explorer.
• There you will find the Windows 7 disc.
• Open the disc and copy the files anywhere on your computer, so that you can access the information from the disc.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

• What are the exact steps that you to performing to burn MP3/CDA files to a disc?
• What is the make and model of the computer?
• Did you make and changes to the computer settings prior to the issue?
