    How to manually remove leftover files with Admin command prompt...


    I'm in high cotton now...Reinstalled Autoruns and made a Hirens disc. Went to You-Tube and watched a few videos on both programs. Now I feel real good about Autoruns because if I mess up it's no big deal. I'll just load up the Hirens disc load up Autoruns program from Hirens mini XP machine re-tick whatever I had un-ticked and were off and running again... By the way down to one warning but it looks like there is no cure for it. On what I found about "Custom dynamic link libraries are being loaded for every application. The system administrator should review the list of libraries to ensure they are related to trusted applications" ...Thanks for all the help Guys...*Wink

    If I remember correctly .... Autoruns can fix that warning, check the Appinit tab *Smile

    Hi Eagle, Hey man good news, well for me anyway. I got all the stuff causing the errors and all the warnings except one.
    I blocked them in Autoruns . I 'll give it a month or so and when I'm sure I don't need any of the blocked files I'll delete them.
    Dam good program ounce I got the hang of it... Thanks, for the heads up on it... I made a Hiren's Boot CD , just in case I can't boot after checking off something on Autoruns, Just to be on the safe side...
