Windows 10: How to move Windows 10 pro from 1 ssd to another ssd?

Hello, i just bought a faster SSD than the one that I currently use for my Windows 10. Of course i'd like to move my OS to the new SSD. The new SSD is slightly smaller than my current one 25 GB difference, but my current SSD is only 72% full out of a total of 525 GB, so I imagine that's not a problem ?.


Now, I'm just trying to figure out 2 things:

1. how to do it?
2. 
   after moving my OS to a new SSD, will my windows stay activated? i really don't want to buy a new windows license for this..
   

One would think that it'd be enough to copy all files and folders, but i imagine it can't be that easy '

Move Windows 10 from installed hdd to installed ssd

If you want to move it from hard disk, system image or cloning would be your options:

Choose system image if the SSD is equal in size or larger than hard disk:

Choose cloning if its not:

OR

You can remove the hard disk, reinstall Windows 10 directly to SSD, reattach the hard drive and format it.
