    How to 'Permanently' delete Edge favourites ?


    Version 2004 (OS Build 19041.572)

    My favourites go back years and a lot are no longer used so how do I 'Permanently' delete them?

    I have used the setting/favs method but that does not delete them, they come back again.

    They are obviously stored somewhere at Microsoft as I have done clean installs of Windows 10 and sanitized
    the hard drive before the install so they are not on my PC.
    I have cleared my MS/Bing history etc.

    I have checked in the OneDrive and they are not in there, there is nothing in there as I have never used it.

    Anyone any idea please ?

    Pinning column of favourites permanently open as a column down one sid

    I have the Other favorites list on the right under the Users image/profile, works similar to the Firefox Bookmarks toolbar when it fills up and adds to the drop-down list.

    Internet Explorer, Edge and Favourites.

    I use IE and Edge mainly because some sites do not seem to work well in IE now. I like IE and have a hundred or more favourites saved in folders. I recently imported these to Edge but I have a small problem. If I save a new favourite to IE I then have to repeat the process in Edge. If I accumulate new favourites in IE can I just delete the imported favourites from Edge and re-import the up to date favourites from IE. Will this work or having imported the list once will I not be able to repeat the process? Any thoughts please?
