Windows 10: How to prevent mouse from waking PC from sleep? Tried Mouse properties

Win 10 system, I'm trying to prevent the mouse from waking the PC from sleep since bumping into my desk is sufficient to move the mouse and thus wake up the PC, which is very annoying.

Mouse is a Logitech wireless mouse that uses a Logitech unifying receiver.

I used this method, except since I have a Logitech wireless mouse, in Device Mgr, under "Mice", I have two devices:
-HID-compliant mouse
-Logitech HID-compliant Unifying Mouse

For both of these, I went to Properties > Power Mgmt and unchecked "Allow this device to wake the computer".

Mouse movement still wakes the PC from sleep. Any ideas?

Mouse keeps waking up PC from sleep


Hi,

I am trying to prevent my mouse from waking up my PC and currently haven't found a solution. Things tried:

Wake up feature from the mouse is currently unticked. In the keyboard section there are two HID keyboards. The second one is the mouse, since when I unticked the first HID keyboard and ticked the second one, only the mouse was able wake the PC from sleep.
If I tick only the first one, both mouse and keyboard can wake the computer from sleep. I am yet to find a solution to prohibit only the mouse from waking up the computer.

Any solution how to prevent only the mouse from waking up the PC?

 

Use mouse to wake the PC from Sleep mode

Am unable to change power manage setting to allow mouse to wake pc after sleep. pc shuts itself down when in sleep mode. It is set to 'never' shut down automatically. I have been using the mouse wake up setting for years but after switching browser to
chrome then removing chrome and staying with IE and edge the shut off and wake problems began. I try: dev. mgr. > power management>mouse>properties> and the box offers no options or other info except a mouse icon. Have also tried with USB controller with
same results. Please advise.

Mouse wake PC

I set my computer to sleep after 20 minutes. I only want my keyboard to wake up my PC, because sometimes I set things down on my desk and the vibration must be felt by the mouse and my PC comes out of sleep. I disabled the option in the mouse settings in the control panel, but nothing works. As for the command error, that's what's aggravating me the most! I am the administrator, so I don't know what it means that I don't have the permission to enable device wake. It seems like the mouse has a mind of it's own. When I used a wired mouse, it would behave properly (not wake up the PC). Now, that I switched to a USB wireless mouse it seems to do what it wants
