    Hey guys!! Just a quick question. I'm using my Windows laptop camera,but i'd love to know how to put a quick access shortcut on my desktop. Anyone know how??

    How do I put program icons (shortcuts) on the Windows 10 desktop. After installing Microsoft home and student 2010 I was surprised to see that there was no icon on the desktop.

    Desktop shortcuts in Edge browser

    All he wanted was to know how to put a shortcut on his desktop. There are ways, of course, to place a shortcut in various locations in win10 Edge. But he simply wanted to know the former. The win10 Edge way: Click and highlight the URL on the page you
    want to shortcut. Close and/or go to desktop. Right click empty area. Choose new then click shortcut. When uncompleted shortcut box opens, paste the copied URL in the box space. Click next and name your shortcut anything you desire. Click finish. The shortcut
    is now named and completed on your desktop.

    2 quick choices right click your icon, and pick desktop OR drag the icon to your desktop ...

    usually one of the Right Click Options is "Pin to Taskbar" if you choose that option, then you can drag it from your taskbar on to your Desktop.

    How to put Win10 camera icon/shortcut on desktop

    Well as long as it works one way or the other.....then thats all that matters. I can do it a few different ways. No big deal. *Smile

    Im in Win10 and using the MS-camera, from the store.
    It does work when activating it in taskmanager, but I can not find an icon for making a shortcut !
