Windows 10: How to reinstall Intel Graphics Driver for Windows 10

I recently uninstalled my Intel graphics driver as I believed it was causing some issues with the sleep function (after waking up computer screen would be static and I would have to shut it down), but as a result I can't reinstall it. I have repeatedly downloaded the Graphics Driver from the Intel website for Windows 10, 64-bit, but every time I go through the instructions with the installer and I restart my computer nothing has changed and I am still missing the driver. I'm not sure whether this is a problem with the program or my computer or if I am simply doing it incorrectly, but it is starting to get infuriating as the Ndivia Graphics Driver that I have left makes the computer more clunky.


The version I am attempting to download is the

Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows® 10
Version: 25.20.100.6326

Steps to uninstall the Graphics Card Drivers.

1. Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys on the keyboard.

2. Click on “Device Manager” from that list.

3. Search for the Graphics Card from the device list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device” you may select that and then remove the corrupted drivers
from the computer.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and then restart the computer if prompted.

After the restart, please go ahead with the next steps to install the latest drivers and check if that resolves the issue.

I would also suggest you to update graphics drivers.

  Press Windows key + X and select

  Right click on the graphics driver
  and select Update driver software.
