Windows 10: How to remove downloadmyinboxhelper app

This app hides and pretends it doesn't exist in the app list. Microsoft windows defender fails to recognize it as malware. It downloaded itself without permission.


How do I remove it, without interacting with other dubious websites

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
