Windows 10: How to remove individual Birthdays from Windows Calendar

Hello

I have the Calendar app open and I'm showing birthdays from people I don't know or people I don't care to know who's birthday it is.
I have been trying on and off for a while to resolve the issue and remove certain people.

There is no delete option, even when I edit series there is no cancel or delete and it seems like it is pulling the information from old friends that aren't even friends anymore on Facebook.
Some people I have no idea who they are.

How do I go about either tracking down where these are directly pulling from so I can modify it or how do I remove them or deleting them from the Calendar without creating a new one and just hiding the original?

I have been trying to find a way to remove unwanted facebook birthdays from my windows calendar. I do not want to remove all birthday, just those for people I do not regularly interact with. There does not seem to be a way to do this or else I am just
unable to find it. I would really like to not have to manually add dozens of individual birthdays. Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. If there is no solution other then manual entry it seems to me that there should never be an item
on a calendar that can't be manually deleted.

 

Deleting Birthdays in Calendar

This is still an issue. I've freed myself from the woes of Facebook by disabling my account. Unfortunately, the birthday entries are there. Attempting all of the steps within this thread are pointless as:

• there's no right clicking of the birthday event to delete it
• editing the series only shows "Save and close" but no delete
• there are no accounts associated to the calendar app to remove
• the troubleshooting app believes Windows is perfect and offers no options
• it's impossible to uninstall Mail and Calendar manually to try again

Give us some registry keys to delete to fix this.

It would be nice to use the apps Microsoft presents if they work...

 

Deleting Birthdays in Calendar

I don't want to remove people from my contact list. We've had more problems since the original post - then, the birthdays in my contact list were posting on my calendar, but the ones I had posted through Microsoft several years ago on an old computer were
also posting so birthdays were on listed twice on the date. I only wanted them listed once - through contacts and couldn't remove the other one.

Through some oddity, one day, the ones I didn't want magically disappeared so the only ones now are through the contacts, which is what I want. However, another issue has come up.

Now when I put contacts in my list, the birthdays do not go on the birthday calendar at all! Another issue, I'm sure has to be related - When I put new contacts with email address, then I try to email them, the newly added additional contacts to not show
up on autosuggest. I have to take a few extra steps and click on them from my contact list. Really a pain.

Once that have been in for a long time come up when I type the first few letters but additions made in the past year do not. They are entered the identical same way so I don't know what is up with that.

I had the computer looked at and my computer guy can't figure it out either. Doesn't know why new additions don't come up with auto suggest, but it's probably the same bug that isn't putting birthdays in my contact list on the calendar.
