  1. How to remove the "cursor speed" in Mouse Setting

I remember in my old PC (Windows 10) that there were no Cursor speed in the page of cursor speed, you need to get into additional mouse options to change the dpi. However, in my new PC (window 10), the there is a cursor speed in the mouse setting page, so I do not know which number should I adjusted can I change my windows in the old version or can i turn off that "cursor speed panel" in this page, so I can have the same interface of mouse setting page?

    No mouse cursor

    Hi,

It is possible that the system did not recognize the mouse of your computer after it booted up. This can be the reason why you do not see the mouse cursor. Kindly perform a power cycle to refresh the power of the computer. To do this, follow these steps:

    • Shutdown the computer.
    • After shutting it down, remove the battery (if you're using a laptop) and disconnect the computer from the charger.
    • Wait for 1 minute.
    • After 1 minute, attach the battery and turn on the computer.
    • Check if you will see the mouse cursor.

Let us know how it goes.

How to remove the "cursor speed" in Mouse Setting

Change the cursor speed for Precision touchpad

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you want to set the cursor speed value more than 20. The valid range of values for the registry key that you want are trying to change is 0 to 20, with a default value of 10.

Note: Important this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow
these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.

Follow the steps to take backup of registry.
