Windows 10: how to remove the doubled volume/brightness indecators ? PROBLEM FIXED ON HP LAPTOPS

HI GUYS, for all of you with this type of problem I have found the solution and cause of the problem. All you have to do is to find a folder, C:\Program Files x86\Hewlett-Packard\HP Quick Launch Buttonsand after that you looking for 2 .exe programs, 1. VolCtrl.exe for volume2. for this one I'm not sure yet, but there is only few of .exe programs in this folder. This one is for screen brightness. BEFORE DELETING THEM, OPEN TASK MANAGER AND STOP THESE PROGRAMS, THEY HAVE SAME NAME LIKE IN MY POST, AFTER THAT DELETE THEM. You're welcome Microsoft ;

first of all i shall thank you for your time and effort with me ,

i did try the steps , then i found out that thegraphics and sound drivers suggested buy the note book company (hp) were to blame , so when i delete them , i lose the sound and the graphic , i tried using other drivers but no use ...

btw the drivers i use were downladed automatclly by hp support ....

i also found a tool on the internet that removes the sound/brightness bar , but it did remove the windows(which i wanna keep) bar and left me the old ugly one ...

so now i´m wondering if there is any direct access to just nullefy that indecators

please help

You're most welcome. Thanks for sharing the screenshot. Looks like the green volume slider is not from Windows.

Kindly follow the steps below:

1. Please try to press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC and check if there's a HP Utility or Spatial Sound app running, if yes, please end the task and check if the issue persists.

2. Please open device manager, expand the Sound, video and Game Controller, try to uninstall the drivers and restart your device. Please check if the issue persists after restart.

3. If you are using a desktop, please check if there's a volume button on the monitor and try to press it.

It looks like that the issue is on the laptop volume features. it would be the best option to contact the Manufacturer support which is HP. I am sure they know how to disable this option on your device since they are the one who created this features on your laptop. additionally they can remotely access your computer to see the exact issue on your device.
