Windows 10: How to reset my PC when bitlocker has locked everything?

My PC was updated my Microsoft helpdesk and I have been locked out ever since. The computer is locked with Bitlocker, my neither I, nor my company, can see the bitlocker key to unlock the field is blank where it should be. I therefore need to reset my entire PC back to factory settings - how do I do this?

Bitlocker frequently locking computers

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately these suggestions don't really fit our needs. We want to use BitLocker and don't want to disable it. The problem we have is that it locks some of our computers from time to time. Ideally we will make use of BitLocker but not have it blocking our computers.

I have tried:

1. Turning off BitLocker
   
2. Installing all Driver and Windows Updates
   
3. Turning BitLocker back on again
   

Maybe this will help. We will wait and see.

 

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??

• Were you using the BitLocker before?
• Is anybody else using your PC other than you, if so then you can check if they have set any for reference?

I suggest you to provide us the screenshot of the issue you are facing
in order to understand the issue better.
