How to resize the scratchpad box in Windows Speech Recognition on Window 10

The scratchpad used with Windows 10 Speech Recognition is so small it makes it hard to see large amounts of text. Is there a way to stretch the box to a bigger size? I have tried hovering over it to grab the edges and that does not work.

    :)

  2. Resize WSR Scratchpad.

I need some help with Windows Speech Recognition. The Scratchpad window is too small. It is only 1 line tall, and about 20 characters wide. Even the Insert and Cancel buttons are cropped due to the small size of the window. I need to resize this window
to something useable, maybe 3 or 4 lines deep and at least 45 characters for each line. On my previous computer (also Windows 10), the Scratchpad window was an appropriate size by default.

I have not found any *.ini file for windows speech recognition, nor any *.ini files for the scratchpad. Nor have I found any registry entries for the scratchpad.

How do I change the size of the scratchpad?

    speech recognition in windows 10

The text box is called the Scratchpad. First of all, make sure to always start WSR, Windows Speech Recognition, before any program you wish to use it in. To disable the Scratchpad, Right Click the microphone icon on the Speechbar. Select Options and remove
    checkmark from Enable dictation scratchpad.
