Windows 10: How to run Windows XP Solitaire on Windows 10

If you want to run Windows XP version of Solitaire on your Windows 10 PC, here's how:


If you're using or having an old PC running Windows XP:

1. Insert USB stick or any removable device.

2. Open Windows Explorer.

3. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32

4. Click the Search button.

5. Click All Files and Folders option.

6. Type the ff. query: cards.dll, sol.exe then click Search

7. Copy them to USB stick.


The same goes when you have a VM running Windows XP. But you need to have a shared folders.


On Windows 10 PC:

1. Open Windows Explorer.

2. Create a new folder.

3. Open a folder that you've created.

4. Paste cards.dll and sol.exe to your folder from your USB or your VM shared folder.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
