Windows 10: How to search for folders containing letters and numbers

OK... lets assume I have a folder that contains two sub folders and two text files. Structure is like this:Main Folder 123 << Note this is a Folder ABC123 << Note this is a Folder 123.txt ABC123.txtIf I go to the search bar and search 1, the results are:123123.txtIf I search *1, everything pops upIf I search kind:folder *1, only folder 123 shows up. My expectation is that both folder 123 and ABC123 show up.It seems like the search is kind of broken - or maybe my knowledge is lacking... at the end of the day, I need to be able to search this folder typing in only a pa

Dialing phone Numbers that contain Letters

I've been using the Samsung Blackjack for a few months now, and I do love it..but it wasn't until about a week ago that I noticed the difficulty in dialing a phone number that contains letters.



I had some car trouble, and had to call AAA...now after a minute, I remembered that the 'A' key was on the number '2' key on a regular key pad...but what if it was something more difficult?



I've looked everywhere, but can't find any info on how to enter letters, except to remember where they are....any suggestions?

 

Trying to search contacts with a name containing a number.

I am trying to search for a contact name containing a number, "M2". The "alt" key will not select the number "2" above the "e" key. It will only select "e". Any suggestions?

 

Quick Access not searching Pictures folder

Summary, that last suggestion didn't work.

• I moved the pictures to another folder temporarily.

• Then I tried to remove the Pictures folder with option one at Add or Remove Folders from This PC in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials. Even after rebooting, the Pictures folder remained.
• So I tried using option two. Same thing: reboot >> Pictures folder still there.

• Since there were no troubleshooting steps for this scenario, just for the heck of it, I ran through the restore steps. Copied some pictures into the Pictures folder, ran a Quick Access search and initial problem remains: Searching all of QA doesn't find any files in Pictures folder, running search on just the Pictures folder does. I want to run a global search and find matching files in any/all of the Documents, Music, Videos, and Pictures folders.

That article dates from 2015 and I'm guessing is out of date. I hope it didn't create potential future problems in my registry.

Bottom line: I'm still looking for a fix.
