Windows 10: how to show your picture at the welcome screen in windows 10

My picture shows up when I logon/off but not at windows startup welcome screen. Thank you.

Picture on Welcome Page after Windows10 update KB3176936

A new update was installed yesterday 8-28-16 (Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64 based systems KB3176936) yesterday on my laptop but not my desktop. It changed alot of my settings which I was able to fix. But since the update my picture on the Welcome Screen
will not show up. It is correct on my Users Page. On the Personalization Page, Lock Screen the wording for the picture has changed. It used to say "Show Windows background Picture on Sign In Screen" (it is like that on my desktop). On my Laptop it says
" Show Lock Screen background Picture on Sign In Screen". Does anyone know how to get the "Windows Picture" back on the Welcome Screen??

Windows 10 Welcome Screen

My OS is Windows 10 Home Edition 64 bit Version 1709. After I startup my PC it shortly displays an intermediate screen which shows my "Username" and the word " Welcome" and also a Picture before the PC continues to fully
run up and then display the Desktop screen . This intermediate screen with my Username and the word Welcome I will call the "Welcome" screen. My PC recently had an automatic OS Windows 10 Update and I now have a Picture
of a Frog with yellow and black patches on it shown on my Welcome screen. I don't like this Picture and would like to remove it altogether from my Welcome screen. Can anyone instruct me how I can remove the Picture
of the Frog from my Welcome screen. Would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

 

Try clicking the Start button and right click on the area above 'Most Used" and click " Change account settings" Then browse for your picture, add it and save it.

 

Go to Settings->Personalization-> Lockscreen and you can set it from there. Also, you might have to be using an MS Account for Login:







Actually, the LS settings ask you which service you want to pull info from, and if you have the Facebook Tile version installed, you can choose that and it will use your FB info. It says "Choose an app to show detailed status" - and you can only use a social app tile version once you have installed any.

 

I found out it's because I used "netplwiz" to bypass entering a password at startup

 

Ah, well that'll do it.
