    How to solve the problem of incorrect pw in BSOD?


    Hi, My windows 10, dell Inspiron 3542 has encountered Blue screen of death problem and it is asking for a password on all steps. I am entering my microsoft account password but it's saying "password is incorrect". The password is correct and is working on other devices. I've restarted it for many times but has no changes.Please help me.

    Windows login/pw problem

    Windows 10 "incorrect password" message, retried, same thing, reset pw as suggested, still fails. 2 months now, beyond frustrated.

    Yesterday all day i was able to log in to my computer with a pw that has ALWAYS been the password. Suddenly, when i went to log back in after it went yo sleep it started saying "that pw is incorrect. Make sure you are using thr pw for you MS account. You
    xan always change it at..." so, i went and changed it. Now neither pw works. I did nothing and changed no settings nor installed any updates that i am aware of. Tried to do a system restore and even with that i need a pw and none of mine work. Please help.

    How to solve the problem of incorrect pw in BSOD?

    Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

    That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
    a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
    b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

    I suggest Option 1 is easier.

    If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.
