Windows 10: How to start OneDrive personal sync on a Win10 that is using OneDrive for Business?

On my previous computer I had OneDrive personal and OneDrive for Business co-existing. I just got a new Windows 10 PC and it has my OneDrive for Business set up on it. I'm unable to start (install?) OneDrive sync personal on it.


In the search bar if I type in OneDrive the only answer/link that is given opens up my OneDrive for Business folder.


I've gone to onedrive.com and logged in with my personal account. I download the installer for onedrive. I click on this installer, "OneDrive Setup", and it pops up a window that says something like "getting onedrive ready for the first time". The cloud that it shows in the icon is blue, which on my previous computer meant that it was dealing with OneDrive for Business. The window disappears and it refreshed my OneDrive for Business app.


I can't find any way to start or access my personal OneDrive synced folders. I was able to download the onedrive app from the MS app store, but I don't want to run it in an app. I want my onedrive personal files to sync.

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

 

OneDrive for Business and Personal OneDrive Sync

Hi,

Have a Nokia 710 running Windows Phone 7.8

The issue I have is that I'm trying to get the Phone to sync with an Office 365 OneDrive for Business Account via the Office App, however due to the fact that it has previously been linked to a personal OneDrive account I cannot seem to get it to link to
the OneDrive for Business account. Even adding a new location just doesn't seem to like it.

Is there any way you can reset the Office App (without resetting the whole phone) or is there some other way I can get it to connect, suggestions welcome.

I have posted this in the O365 forum and they have directed me here.

[/quote] Click to expand... Sorry, but I think you're confused and keep referring to Onedrive. There is a big difference between the consumer version of Onedrive business O365 version. I do not have the consumer version of Onedrive installed... it is Onedrive for Business. Also, this script is for "Onedrive" .... not Onedrive for Business. Thanks anyway.

No thanks for providing a non-rant version. I ought to recruit about 20 million people and walk down to Microsoft headquarters and do them in. Tired of Microsoft forcing their childish development skills on the masses.
