Windows 10: How to stop music playing from virtual desktop that isn't active

Is this possible? I have a game open in a dedicated desktop, and have another desktop for doing other things. When I've switched away from the game desktop, I want the music to stop playing.

I'd also like to be able to have a specific program always open a new desktop when it is launched. Is this possible?

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

Managed to solve it... here´s how I did it just in case anyone else has the same problem...

->Settings

->Printers & scanners

->Add a printer or scanner

->The printer that I want isn´t listed

->Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings

->Use an existing port: USB001 (Virtual printer port for USB)

->Choose printer

->Use the driver that is currently installed

->Type printer name

And done... =P

 

Desktop or screen shutting down, 90 seconds of non use. keep my music playing and it stays on until music stops. ?

  Type winver in the Search field.
• What program are you using to play the music?
• What do you want to achieve? To continue play the music even if the screen display turns off or For the music to stop together with monitor turning off?
