Windows 10: How to Stop One Drive

I would like to keep One Drive from loading every time I reboot, but not get rid of it entirely. How can I do this?

Thank you for the reply.

If you have Office files saved in the OneDrive folder then it will get uploaded automatically. When you unlink the account under Settings it should also stop the Office files from uploading. Further you may also move the Office files present
in the OneDrive folder on the PC to a different location so that the files do not get uploaded automatically.

You can unlink OneDrive to check if that helps you with a faster surfing.

Follow these steps:

1. Right-click the white OneDrive cloud icon in the notification area, at the far right of the taskbar.

2. Click Settings, and then click Unlink.

You could use the method in the tutorial below to stop OneDrive from running at startup.

Task Manager then just disable it from startup.
