  1. How to stop outdated value being filled on a sign-on page.

Pulling my hair out on this. Up to date Edge Browser on up to date Windows 10 Pro. I have a bank account and the login page has a business number the bank assigns in addition to userid and password. The logon page has a remember me option which I use on my home office PC. Last week something triggered the bank to change the business number. Now when opening the logon page, I see my new number flash and then instantly be replaced by the old number forcing me to re-enter the new business number. I've deleted every cookie and the local data for the bank's domain (NBARIZONA) and all cookies with NB in the domain for good measure. Also every cookie with ZI in the name since Zions Bank owns NBoA. No change. I've logged on with and without the remember option, with pasting in the business number and typing it in, every combination. I am using Lastpass but no entry contains or ever contained either business number, only the userid and password. I don't know if the website could do this but wanted to see if there is a cookie under another domain that includes the old business number but couldn't find a way. But I guess the value might be obfuscated anyway. How can I find out where the old number is being retrieved from so I can kill it.

    :)

  2. My hello sign in stopped working.

    Hi,

This problem that started after installing the last Windows update might be caused by outdated or corrupted device drivers. For us to better assist you, we'll be needing additional information:

    • Are you pertaining on Windows Hello sign-in? If yes, does it mean that the facial recognition is not working?
    • Is there an error message displayed when using Windows Hello?

Meanwhile, it is better to check the status of Windows Hello sign-in option in your computer. To check the Windows Hello status, follow these steps:

    • Click the Start button and select the Settings
      icon.
    • Choose Accounts from the list.
    • Select Sign-in options in the left pane of the window.
    • Under Windows Hello, kindly check the status of it.

As an initial troubleshooting step, we suggest keeping the device drivers like camera driver up-to-date. For your reference, check this article on how to
    update drivers in Windows 10.

We'll keep an eye out for your response.

    C Drive Keeps Filling Up

Thanks. Extremely interesting article. I followed the steps as outlined, but when I was as the step to Stop the Windows Modules Installer Service, it was already stopped. So I was not quite sure how to proceed, so I abandoned the process. Since I had
already manually deleted most of the cab files, I now have 190 GB free space. I will closely monitor the free space to see how quickly it fills up, and if it fills up as quickly as the article suggests might happen, I will try again to follow the instructions
to see if I can get it to work. With the service already stopped, and set to Manual, if I get to that point again, do you have any suggestions on how to proceed? Thanks again for this very insightful article -- it sure explains a lot.

Black Dot and Numbers filled up in the password box and the Notepad

    Hello,

There are several ways to troubleshoot sign-in issues in Windows 10. Since the system automatically fills out the password box with black dots and already did a few troubleshooting steps, we suggest creating a new user account to see if this issue will occur
on a new user profile. This will help you check if your current user account is corrupted. To do this, simply follow the steps below:

    • Select the Start button, then select Settings > Accounts > Family
      & other people
      > Add someone else to this PC.

    • Type a user name, password, password hint, and then select Next.

Should you have further questions, please let us know.
