Windows 10: how to transfer my windows 10 home edition

Hello, Im someone who would be upgrading the laptop, but the harddrive seems to not have any system downloaded in it, so instead i decided i maybe can trasnfer my copy to there, but i searched and couldnt find anything other than some people asking ''how do i transfer my lisence to other laptop'' which seems very similar but the case here is the drive is blank and it cant download anything as you expect. and no its not a retail purchase. is there anything i can do?Thanks

Transferring an account on Windows 10 (EDITED)

  Entire account: are you referring to a Microsoft account or a local user account?
  

If it is a Microsoft user account the same settings will synchronize to the new user account.
