How to transfer upgrade to windows 10 pro from home to another pc?

I have read several posts here about this issue but they don't add up.

I bought a windows 10 home notebook and upgraded to pro for $99. I've now decided to return that notebook. I would like to be able to use the upgrade that I've already paid on another future windows 10 notebook which I have yet to purchase. I cannot find out how to do this.

The notebook is an LG Gram 15 (which is quite excellent btw). It does not have a product key anywhere on it as far as I can tell. Nothing in the box with a product key.

The upgrade to pro process did not show off a product key, before or after the upgrade.

I used a utility to try to discover the product key, and it reported

    Installed Key: xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-3V66T

    Original Key: xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
    OEM Key: xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx

I think the "installed key" is generic, it's found online in many posts. If I'm to apply the $99 upgrade to some future pc, I'm going to need some other key than that one, am I not? Where do I find that key?

And how to I apply that key to another windows 10 home pc? The only route offered that I recall via the upgrade wizard was to pay $99 and go through the process; nothing about "do you have an upgrade key"? Or would I apply the pending windows 10 pro key to via the change product key dialog in cp/system, and it'd upgrade? I doubt it.

    :)

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:
    • Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
    • Try different keyboard or mouse.
    • Restart computer, repeatedly.
    • Google for related issues.
    • Update Bios, because why not.
    • Create boot media and revert to windows 7.
The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.

Windows 10 Pro licence transfer to another PC

My current desktop PC has Windows 10 Pro installed. It was upgraded from its predecessor, Windows 7 Pro. However, it will be scrapped soon as I'm building a gaming PC now.

How do I transfer the Windows 10 Pro to my new gaming PC? What are the technical steps as Win 10 doesn't seem to have the licence key?

    Thank you.

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

i've seen this when the stock USB drivers went kaput. Only ever seen it once - i used a PCI USB 2.0 card and connected the mouse and keyboard to that, and manually updated the USB 2/USB 3 drivers.
