Windows 10: How to transfer Windows 10 Pro License to new Laptop?

I have a tablet that come with Windows 10 OEM home edition,and i purchased Windows 10 Pro digital license and upgraded this tablet to Pro.I bought a new laptop recently and the OEM come with Windows 11 home edition,I have tried to transfer my Windows 10 Pro license to this new laptop but failed.I Have unlinked/deactivated the tablet from my Microsoft account and store as well,It just can't verify my Windows Pro product key when entering the key during the activation.Now the microsoft store on my old tablet is grayed out,and it is no more in my devices list of my Microsoft account,What should I

I am running my laptop with Windows 10 Pro version. I have issues with my laptop and want to replace it. But the item i am planning to buy is having Windows 10 home edition.

Can i use my pro license again in the new laptop.?

• how to deactivate from current laptop.
• IHow can I transfer the license to my new laptop.
• will adding this license uograde the OS to pro version.?

i bought the license. My laptop was originally loaded with win 7 and was upgraded free couple of months.

in this case, if i understand you correctly, i can transfer with below steps. Right.?

does OS upgrades if my activation key is changed.

Transferring Windows 10 pro digital license to new system with windows 10 home

Hey Everyone

I was using an old laptop of mine which has a retail license of Windows 10 Pro on it and it is activated and the digital license is linked to my Microsoft account.

I have recently bought a new Microsoft surface Laptop which has a OEM Windows 10 Home on it and as soon as I opened the laptop for the first time and tried to sign in. Now it shows that my windows is activated with Windows 10 Home and digital license linked
to my account.

Now I have 2 laptops with both windows 10 home and pro and their digital licenses linked to my Microsoft account. I wanted to transfer my Windows 10 pro license from my old system to my new laptop as I have its digital license linked to my account. But I am
unable to as I have a digital license of the Home version (OEM) activated on my new Laptop.

Are there any steps that I can follow in order to transfer my Windows 10 Pro ?? I have verified that it is a retail license.

Can someone please assist regarding this ??
