Windows 10: How to turn off Fn?

    How to turn off Fn?


    I have a laptop and usually play Minecraft on it and I’ve noticed I no longer have to press Fn to use f3 but I do for volume. How do I turn this off?

    Hi,

    To address your concern, we suggest that you try the following steps:

    • Click Start and then click Settings
    • Click on Ease of access
    • Click Keyboard in the left pane
    • Turn off Filter Keys in the right pane

    Also, try pressing the Fn+ Num Lock keys to turn off the Number lock function.

    Let us know how it goes after performing the suggested steps.

    We would like to suggest that you check the updated drivers for your laptop. Your drivers might not yet be updated and that's the reason why the
    Fn button is not working properly. You can refer to this article:

    Update drivers in Windows 10     and follow the steps to update your drivers.

    no exist? it's in all the screenshots.

    that is what fn does, num lock turns the number pad on or off yes - but it only matters for a dedicated number pad. those are normally arrows when turned off.
