Windows 10: how to type command to cortana instead of speaking

Sometimes it is easier and faster by typing command but it seams Cortana will not respond my command.


For example, if I type "set a reminder at 11 am" in the Cortana search, it will just bing search what I just typed instead of setting that command?


Any idea how to solve this problem?

Make Cortana speak when typing

Is there a way I can make Cortana also speak the results when typing, instead of only when using the mic? There must be some registry hack. I don't like using the mic. It feels like talking to myself, and if I input text, she won't talk.

Cortana can be very helpful in so many ways, including finding the name of a song that you

don't know about.

but, this fetaure only works if you speak to Cortana, not if you type the command.

The command is not available as a separate feature / button either.

I think this may be useful because there are times when it would be better for the command

to be typed rather than spoken.

Is there any way I can achieve this sort of functionality as of yet?

thanks for your suggestion but thats not really my problem. everything is fine with the computer. my problem is i cant physically speak because my disablity so i cant give it verbal commands. I use cortana by typing commands into the search bar. the problem
is when you type commands using the search bar, cortana doesnt speak, her responses are come up on the screen. from what i read around the internet, theres no official way to change this and thats just the way its set up. i was hoping to find somebody real
tech savy to come up with a work around so i can still have her responses speak outloud even when im typing commands into the search bar. sorry if this is confusing, its hard to explain
